1. Who we are
Orca Tech SAS (“OrcaTech”, “Orca Tech”, “we”, “us”) is a Software Studio based in Montevideo, Uruguay. We operate the website orcatech.dev, focused on B2B commercial inquiries.

2. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when you visit orcatech.dev, complete the contact form, book a meeting through the embedded calendar, or contact us via WhatsApp or other channels listed on the site.
This policy does not cover third-party sites, products, or services we may link to (for example, social networks, product demos on our subdomains, or external platforms). Those services have their own policies.
3. What data we collect
3.1 Data you provide directly

Meeting calendar (Google Appointment Schedules, embedded on the site): name, email, and any data you enter when booking a time slot. Google processes that data under its own terms and privacy policy.
WhatsApp (+598 96 230 775): if you message us on WhatsApp, we process the message content and data associated with your account (name, phone number, etc.) under Meta/WhatsApp terms.
3.2 Automatically collected data
When you visit the site, our hosting and CDN providers may log technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages visited, date/time of access, and referrer. This data is mainly used for site security, stability, and technical diagnostics.
3.3 Browser preferences
The site stores your visual theme preference (light/dark) in your browser's local storage (localStorage). It is not personally identifiable on its own and is not sent to external servers.
3.4 Data we do not actively collect
In the current version of the site we do not use advertising analytics tools or third-party tracking cookies (for example, Google Analytics or Meta Pixel). If this changes in the future, we will update this policy.
4. How we use your data

- Coordinate discovery or diagnostic meetings
- Assess whether we can help with our services (web development, OrcaFlow AI, digital marketing, graphic design)
- Keep you informed about follow-up on your inquiry, when applicable

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

Under Uruguay's Law No. 18.331 on Personal Data Protection and Habeas Data Action, we process your data based on:

We may share data with processors that provide technical services necessary to operate the site and manage inquiries:

7. International transfers
Some providers listed above may process data on servers outside Uruguay (for example, the United States or the European Union). In those cases, we take reasonable measures so processing meets adequate protection standards under applicable law.
8. How long we keep your data

After those periods, we delete or anonymize data securely.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. These include encrypted communication (HTTPS), restricted access to commercial inquiry data, and infrastructure providers with recognized security standards.
No system is 100% secure. If you detect an incident related to your data, contact us immediately at admin@orca.com.uy.
10. Your rights
As a data subject in Uruguay, you have the right to access your data, rectify it if inaccurate or incomplete, request update or deletion when applicable, object to processing in cases provided by law, and withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing).
To exercise these rights, write to admin@orca.com.uy with your name, email, and the right you wish to exercise. We will respond within a reasonable time, not exceeding 10 business days.
You may also file a complaint with Uruguay's Personal Data Regulatory and Control Unit (URCDP) if you believe your rights were not respected.
11. Cookies and local storage
Cookies: the site does not use its own tracking cookies in its current version.
Local storage: we use browser localStorage to remember your theme preference (orca-theme: light or dark). You can clear it from your browser settings.
If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this section and, when required by law, request your prior consent.
12. Minors
Our services are aimed at businesses and professionals (B2B). We do not intentionally collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn we have received a minor's data, we will delete it promptly.
13. Third-party links
The site may link to social networks (LinkedIn, Instagram), WhatsApp, product demos on subdomains (*.orcatech.dev), and Google Calendar. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Orca Tech SAS is not responsible for their practices.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the site, our services, or legislation. We will publish the current version at orcatech.dev/privacidad with the last updated date at the top of the document.
If changes are significant, we will indicate this visibly on the site or by email to contacts whose data we hold.
